Designer Darling Round 2 - Pieces mini kit freebie

The second round of Designer Darling at Stuff to Scrap is happening this week. This week was especially hard (at least for me!) because we couldn't use other cu use products...we were given a few basics but had to create everything else ourselves. We were also only given two colors and could fill in the rest of the pallet ourselves. I really wanted to create something that reflected my design style but was also something that I could do. I have very little experience with extraction and element creation, so I hunted online and read tons of tutorials and spent probably more time on it then I should have, but here it is. The image is linked to the STS gallery, you'll find mine along with all the other designers minis there. And keep scrolling down for a bonus alpha freebie.

Here's a layout I created with my mini. I used a template by Manda's Scrappin Creations, you'll find a bunch of her wonderful templates in the Stuff to Scrap store.
